Trauma robs individuals of the ability to feel safe in their bodies. People with unresolved trauma typically feel anxious -- trapped in a flight or fight response -- or frozen -- overwhelmed and unable to take action. Those with trauma often cycle between the two, experiencing little comfort and ease in their day-to-day lives. Many develop substance or process addictions to escape these uncomfortable feelings.
I offer clients support in resolving trauma, be it developmental or event trauma, clearly identified, or shadowy and confusing.
My practice is rooted in slowing down and listening to the body and instincts in order to heal and restore a sense of internal safety and stability.

Testimonials
Cheyenne does an amazing job of understanding the dark place you're in, meeting you there, and then helping you start to see the way out. I was struggling with a really difficult issue that had been bringing me down for months, and in just one short session, Cheyenne was able to help me to get amazing clarity about it. She gave me a visualization, and since our session, I've been using it every day--it's so effective! Cheyenne truly has a gift for those lucky enough to work with her and experience it.

I have been working with Cheyenne long term and it has been literally life-changing. After a few tries with different therapists, I was finally able to find a therapist that I wanted to stick with when I found Cheyenne. My road has been hard and Cheyenne has the skills and ability to meet you wherever you are and significantly make an impact that brings lasting, positive change's into a person's life. Cheyenne has brought me back into my body and has instilled the healing skills of honoring, listening, and responding to my body. She has taught me the importance of slowing down, remaining present, and honoring the slow process of healing from trauma. Through our work together, I am able to be with myself and be in my body. I have learned how to turn inwards rather than abandon my needs and disassociate. Cheyenne has guided me through some of the biggest challenges of my life and has braved the storm with me. I am truly grateful for the hard work we have done together and to have her a part of my healing team. I am both humbled and grateful for our work.
