Somatic Coaching

I work alongside you to help you uncover the root of what is happening in your life that is causing discomfort or pain. Together we listen to and process the messages that arise from connecting to your bodily sensations and emotions. I support you in exploring your inner world, deepening your relationship with yourself, and tending to your wounds to resolve unconscious blocks. This process can help you unlock the energy you need to create the life you want and a sense of clear internal guidance.

Somatic Experiencing is central to my practice. Somatic Experiencing is a body-centered approach to treating PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). Rather than focusing only on thoughts or emotions associated with a traumatic event, SE expands to include the natural bodily (somatic) responses. Somatic Experiencing works by bringing attention to and tracking the body's sensations to discharge traumatic stress stored in the nervous system. It is a gentle approach that teaches your nervous system how to regain its resiliency, improving mental and physical health. Somatic Experiencing can be a great ally in treating anxiety, depression, fatigue, chronic illness, chronic pain, insomnia, and addiction issues.

Who do I work with?

I work with anyone who is dealing with symptoms of PTSD or C-PTSD. I see ages 9 and above. Somatic Experiencing is a wonderful treatment for autoimmune and other chronic health conditions that affect the nervous system or find their root cause in long-term nervous system dysregulation.

I work well with people who are highly sensitive, neurodivergent, and/or highly creative.
